Last Thursday, the Wilton Manors Business Association held their annual Business & Leadership Awards. Mark Hunter, owner of Hunter's Nightclub where the event was hosted, was honored as a Business Leader of the Year, as was Jeff Selzer of Selzer Law. Art Frenzie owners Debbi and Bernadette and Matthew Levine from UNCS were honored with Business of the Year Awards. South Florida Gay News owner, radio show host, and local lawyer Norm Kent was honored with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award, which going forward will be called the Norman Kent Excellence in Business Award. The event also included a live performance by international dance music icon Kristine W and her band. We at the Happening Out Television Network congratulate everyone who was honored at the event.
