A new poll shows that LGBTQ+ Americans overwhelmingly approve of Joe Biden’s performance as president following his first 100 days in office. In a Friday survey released by GLAAD, more than three-fourths of respondents (78%) say that Biden is doing an “excellent or good job” in the Oval Office. The 800 individuals polled by the national media advocacy group gave the POTUS high marks in several key areas. A reported 80% approved of his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, while slightly lower numbers rated him “excellent or good” on LGBTQ+ equality (73%), LGBTQ+ inclusion (72%), and racial justice (67%).
