The Serbian EuroPride which was previously canceled will take place after all. Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić announced this news on Saturday. The organizers of the LGBTQIA+ march and local media have also confirmed and reported that the march will take place. Earlier, Serbian authorities banned the event, citing 'security concerns, but following pressure from the international community, the Serbian government has reversed its position. Prime Minister Ana Brnabić has promised that EuroPride "will proceed safely." Although Prime Minister Brnabić is herself a lesbian, she is not expected to participate in the march. The march will start at 17:00 this Saturday and will take place in Belgrade. Kristine Garina, President of the European Pride Organizers Association said that the community is overjoyed that the Prime Minister kept the promise she made in 2019 to support EuroPride in Belgrade.
