At a rally in Conroe, Texas on Saturday, former president Donald Trump discussed the things he would change about our current government if he gets re-elected and Republicans take back Congress. His rambling rants included promises to pardon those arrested for their treasonous activities on January 6th, as well as banning trans athletes in sports. He referenced both Lia Thomas, the Penn State Swimmer, and Olympian Laurel Hubbard. As a correction to both #45 and the many trolls who are sure to make comments about this segment on YouTube, the current world record for women's weightlifting is held by cisgender woman Li Wenwen of China. Trans athlete Laurel Hubbard did not qualify for the competition in the summer Olympics.
