The Log Cabin Republicans are the often-hated LGBTQ+ group of Republicans. Their website is currently headlined by the line, "Log Cabin Republicans is taking a stand against the ludicrous cancel culture, social shaming, and slander because we have truth on our side." They frequently speak out about how accepting the GOP actually is of the LGBTQ+ community, and they feel that the perception to the contrary is fueled by liberal media. This concept seems to be far from reality, as the group has been banned from having a table at the Texas GOP Convention. This isn't the first time. The group has been banned every time they have requested to be part of the biannual convention for more than 20 years now.
