On Wednesday, June 15th, almost exactly 2 months before its 27th birthday, Microsoft Internet Explorer was pronounced dead. Born on August 16th, 1995, it was the leading internet browsers for years...well at least 2 years until Netscape Communicator (which later became Mozilla then Firefox) was launched. This didn't upset Internet Explorer, because due to its famous lag it still thinks it is the top browser, even after it has been discontinued. Many current users of Internet Explorer were surprised today when they attempted to use the software. Instead of the "Internet Explorer is Not Responding" message they were used to, they were instead directed to the new Microsoft Edge browser.
