It's Pride Month, and that means companies around the world are turning everything rainbow to pander to the gay community, often while donating to anti-LGBTQ+ causes. One company that is at least consistent in its lack of support of Pride and continual financial support of organizations that are against our community is Chick-fil-A. The conservative evangelical company bases its corporate policies on the Bible, and while the corporate level is strictly anti-LGBTQ+, not all employees share that view. Recently a video was posted on TikTok of a Chick-fil-A in Austin, Texas where an employee lined up the sauces at the drive-through window in a rainbow. Several TikTok users have commented that they do or have done the same while working at the chain, but that management would change the sauces back to the corporate-approved order. Either way, we salute the LGBTQ+ or supporting employee who is working 'behind enemy lines'.
