We are witnessing history. Perhaps these moments are as historic as the founding of the nation, the union hanging in the balance and a civil war, the fight against Hitler and the Nazi’s, and America’s way of life in the Cold War against the Soviet Union. We are witnessing history. For the last two days the House Impeachment managers have developed a devastating case both in facts and in emotion against President Donald Trump. The details so far of the sedition to incite an insurrection against our capitol, our elected leaders, our Vice President our very democracy have shaken the country to our core, regardless of which side you fall on. The LGBTQ community was shocked to hear the gay slurs “Faggot”... over and over as they were storming in. The LGBTQ community was even more shocked to hear that chant as they will calling the Vice President “Faggot”. But perhaps most shocking of all, all of these overwhelming arguments only achieve one more Republican vote. Louisiana’s Bill Cassidy. It appears that the right or wrong, the truth or the fake news, the light or the dark will not lead to conviction. We will all come, on our own, in our own quiet thoughts, as to the reason why. But regardless of outcome we now know who we are. Who they are. In these days, we are witnessing the history of our lifetime.
