With rising violence towards the LGBTQ+ community, many have taken to fighting back where they can make lasting change: in politics. The LGBTQ Victory Fund has seen more LGBTQ+ candidates for Federal office than ever before. The number of individuals running is 20% higher than it was in 2020, the next highest year. Even more important is that many candidates have made it past their primary elections. As of mid-month, 57 of the 104 LGBTQ+ candidates running for Senate or House are still running.
