Gay billionaire Peter Thiel is the former mentor and boss of Thiel Foundation President Blake Masters, who is running for a US Senate seat representing Arizona. Masters may have the backing of Thiel, but he apparently has no issue speaking out against his mentor's marriage. At an event in February, Masters said, “Marriage is an institution that goes back thousands of years, and it has a point. The point is procreation and creating children." He was even very clear that he felt that this applied to his 'friend' Peter Thiel saying, “I went to his wedding like, you know, I’m… it was great, I wish him well. I don’t think the Supreme Court should have decided that case that way. Marriage is between a man and a woman.”
