Video of Donald Trump saying that we should “keep our country gay” has gone viral, getting over a million views on Twitter. He was speaking at a rally in North Carolina on Friday in support of candidates he endorsed in the midterms when he probably tried to reference “Make America great again” but failed… fabulously. The viral video shows Trump making frog-like sounds and saying “Remember I was going to say, to use an expression, we have to keep our country gay. But it’s not, I mean, for some reason, it’s just not great anymore.” People had fun mocking Trump on Twitter and agreeing that the country could stand to be quite a bit gayer. Though the crowd standing behind the former president didn’t visibly react, anti-Trump social media users reveled in the blunder.
