Yesterday Queer News Tonight was the only LGBTQ+ media in the world that was live at the White House for the historic signing of the ‘Respect For Marriage’ Act. Our broadcast went live to the nation at 3 pm Eastern as we reported on the largest gathering on the White House lawn in 2022. Happening Out Anchors Todd and Jeff Delmay shared the inside story with viewers with images at the ceremony. Last night, in celebration of the historic event, The White House was illuminated in Rainbow colors in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Todd and Jeff were honored as the plaintiffs of the 2014 Florida Supreme Court case that overturned Florida’s constitutional denial of same-sex marriage.
