As the official website of Tampa Pride rightly says, this parade is a “celebration of our successes in overcoming obstacles throughout history.” Tampa Pride raises donations through various ways to conduct different events each year. "Pride on the River '' is one such event that is held at the end of summer. It takes place along the Hillsborough River and culminates with a family-friendly evening of entertainment, activities, and more. Activities include the Diversity Boat Parade, Drag Brunch, Riverside Festival, and Fireworks Extravaganza. On Saturday, "RuPaul's Drag Race" stars Jiggly Caliente and Ra'Jah O'Hara headlined the daylong celebration, starting with a drag brunch, before the riverside festival, diversity boat parade, and more before tens of thousands. Pride On The River is unique because it is one of the few Pride boat parades in America.
