Thousands of Catholic nuns unite to ‘wholeheartedly’ declare trans people are beloved by God

A group of over 6,000 Catholic nuns has joined the fight for trans rights, writing in an open letter that trans and non-binary people are “beloved and cherished by God”.
The Sisters of Saint Joseph Federation and several other Catholic organizations published an open letter on Trans Day of Visibility that supports the LGBTQ+ community and criticizes the recent influx of oppressive and discriminatory legislation sweeping the US.

Horrific Crimes Uncovered: Men Targeted at Gay Bars in NYC for Robbery and Murder

Robert Demaio, 34, has been charged with murder, robbery, grand larceny, identity theft and conspiracy in connection with the death of John Umberger, a 33-year-old political consultant, and in a separate incident in which an unidentified victim did not die. Another suspect, Jacob Barroso, 30, has been charged with murder, robbery, grand larceny, and conspiracy in connection with the death of Julio Ramirez, a 25-year-old social worker, and in a separate incident where the victim survived.

Sending A Message to Tallahassee

More than one thousand people marched from the Pride Center, up Dixie Highway and down Wilton Drive in Pride colors, and the brave ones wore heels.
The March In Heels was a rally against anti-LGBTQ+ bills making their way through the legislature. After speeches, groups made the march, stopping at Action Stations along the way. At one stop, some registered to vote, others, including myself, re-registered for mail-in ballots.

Nashville Mayor Praises Police Response to School Shooting, Calls for Gun Control

Cooper told CNN that “This is our worst day, but it could have been worse without this brave response. So we’re very grateful for that.” Five officers initially responded to the call and confronted the shooter. Two officers opened fire, killing the shooter.
