Christopher H. Bates, Chairman of The Pride Center Board of Directors, is part of the team presenting the Diversity Honors awards on April 1 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In a recent interview with Queer News Tonight, Christopher talked about the 30 years long journey of the Pride Center and the work it is doing for the community.
Diversity Honors, the globally renowned celebration benefitting Harvey Milk Foundation and The Pride Center at Equality Park, will exclusively be hosted at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Saturday, April 1, to acknowledge those who are transforming lives with their authenticity and advancing inclusiveness.
Jennings responded by saying that the trans community has always been a part of the LGBTQ+ community and that rejecting them is self-serving and wrong.
