In the interview with Ferguson, Crowder talked about how his experiences growing up in rural Tennessee shaped his perspective on politics and activism. He talked about the stereotypes of southerners and the ignorance that is often associated with rural communities.
Tampa Bay-based LGBTQ support group Found Family Collective hosted a self-defense class aimed at the LGBTQ community recently. The event was held in collaboration with the self-defense training company Weapon Brand at Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg.

However, he also recognizes that progress has been made in these predominantly rural areas, but there is still a long way to go.
The five-page document, entitled “Blessing ceremonies for couples who love each other”, was passed at its second reading by 176 votes to 14 against, with 12 abstentions.
In the forum, the document was supported by 38 votes to nine, with 11 abstentions.
