A groundbreaking study by the National Center for Transgender Equality reveals an astonishing 94% of transgender individuals felt satisfied with their lives post-transition. With over 92,000 participants, the 2022 U.S. Transgender Survey reveals the following data. Results indicate an overwhelming 98% satisfaction rate among those undergoing hormone replacement therapy, with less than 1% reporting dissatisfaction. Similarly, 97% of respondents who underwent gender-affirming surgery experienced increased satisfaction. But, on the flip side, many of these faced a lack of support from those around them. Only 67% of adults whose families were aware of their transgender identity reported receiving support, while 12% encountered unsupportive reactions.
Survey Shows Nearly Every Trans Person is More Satisfied With Life After Transitioning
