Sunshine Cathedral is a progressive, inclusive, and queer favorite church of Fort Lauderdale. Now, it has partnered with Fort Lauderdale’s favorite Mexican restaurant Cafe Monarca for Pride Wednesdays, featuring a House Margarita for $7 and a Pride Martini for $8, and Happy hours from 4 PM till the cafe closes for the day. A portion of the net proceeds of this day will go to Sunshine Cathedral weekly to support the cathedral’s various programs such as Food Sharing Ministry, Sunshine Pride House, or Sunshine Cathedral Center for Performing Arts.
