On Thursday, thousands of students across the state of Florida walked out of class as part of the #DSGWalkout to protest Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill. Jack Petocz from Flagler Palm Coast High School helped to organize the statewide event, and was handing out rainbow flags to students who were participating in the walkout. He has since been suspended by his school. After the walkout he was called to the Principal's office and told he was being “disrespectful and openly advocating against staff.”
