Queer News Tonight Is Proud To Support Our Local Events Here In South Florida, And Tonight We Are Happy To Feature Liliana Ortega Camareno & Julia Taveras, With Their Poetry-In-Public Places Project, Part Of O, Miami Poetry Festival. Liliana Is A Creative Writer And Curator Based Between Miami & Puerto Rico Whose Work Focuses On Documentation As A 6Th-Generation Colonial Subject. They Predominantly Work With A Combination Of Video, Photography, Text And Repurposed Archival Information. “Add Attachment” Is An International Letter Exchange Connecting Different Cultures And Languages Throughout The Américan Continent, Helping Ease Confinement Blues To Residents In South Florida. It Will Enable Poets To Write Care Letters For Folks Across The Area That Have Dealt With Mental Distress As A Result Of Physical And Social Isolation During The Past Year. They Want People To Experience Other Cultures Simply By Walking To Their Mailbox.
