Safe School South Florida Rainbow Roundtable took place on April 1 from 12.00 to 3.00 and was exclusively broadcasted on Queer News Tonight by Happening Out Television Network. Safe Schools South Florida’s mission is to create safer schools where all students can learn and thrive, regardless of real or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, their own or that of their parents/guardians.
The year’s roundtable’s participants included Kai Carey, Javier Gomez, Kaily Lechapelle, Javon Sellers, Ashley Mayfair, Olivia Bergeron-Oakes, Harold Marrero, and Aron Bos-Lun.
The roundtable also featured Special performances by singer & songwriter Joey Young and a drag performance by Crystal Ross Lepaige.
