Prior to working in the treatment industry, Dr. Summers was the Founder and CEO of a New York based nonprofit, The Thinkubator, Inc., an innovation and workforce development organization that crafts innovative strategies for complex local challenges that have global implications. Dr. Summers previously held faculty ranks in public administration and policy, political science, and executive leadership positions at some of the nation's preeminent universities such as Marist College, Union College, and Long Island University.
