Yesterday began the annual installation of a giant pink triangle on Twin Peaks just outside San Francisco. This is the 27th year that the triangle has been displayed for Pride Month, and it represents the pink triangle worn by LGBTQ+ concentration camp prisoners during Nazi Germany. While the triangle was originally made of pink tarps, it is now made up of pink LED lights and streamers that mean the display is visible day or night, and can be seen up to 20 miles away.
