The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade has rocked the nation. The country is even more concerned after Justice Clarence Thomas stated that the court plans to overturn the cases that allow for the right to contraception, the right for same-sex couples to marry, and the case that overturned Sodomy laws. Should the Supreme Court overturn Lawrence v Texas, laws that are still on the books in many states would again take effect, making consensual sex between adults of the same sex illegal. States where these laws still exist are Alabama, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Louisiana, and also here in Florida.
