An LGBTQ+ friendly church in the Boston area was proudly waving a trans flag until last week when the flag was burned in the middle of the night by an unknown assailant. The church posted about the incident on Facebook on Saturday, along with an image of the burned trans flag. The post said that each Sunday the church affirms that all people are made in the image of God and accept & cherishes every person and every kind of family. A representative for the parish told NBC Boston that the burned flag will be replaced with a bigger and harder-to-reach flag. Rev. Kent French of the church said that his parish believes that the Christian faith is a progressive faith that is always looking forward and being inclusive. Find out more at www.them.us
