With Halloween just around the corner, LGBTQ community member Alex and his friends were seeking exciting entertainment to enjoy the nightlife of Orlando. They attended the Haunted Tavern on September 5 and they were shocked to find the performer openly making homophobic, sexist, and racist remarks to the audience. Allex quoted “You could feel the room get quiet….It became a very aggressive environment.” The Haunted Tavern is an immersive cocktail show where guests are guided through the experience by a tavern keeper.
