Sarah Carson of Leota New York has recently opened up about her struggle as a lesbian in the fashion world and why did she decide to come out. She wrote an article in The Advocate sharing her journey. Carson had been out in her personal life since she was 19, but not in the professional world. In the article, she says, “We all know how women need to obscure our personal lives in business because it could be held against us professionally. Leota is for all — I mean men, women, nonbinary, trans, everyone.
