The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allows student clubs associated with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to be officially recognized by public schools in California's San Jose Unified School District. The court ruled that these religious clubs should not be treated differently from other student organizations, even if they impose faith-based restrictions on their members.
