Q News Tonight is proud to support our local influencers, personalities, drag queens, and entertainers here in South Florida, and tonight we feature Diego Armando Cifuentes. He is a 23 year old, first generation LatinX college student, originally from East Central University in Oklahoma, and now living here in Miami, Florida studying for a degree in Political Science & Communications.
He has shown community involvement through his work and is passionate about making a positive difference at the local level. With Op-Ed writings published in the New York Times and Sun Sentinel, Diego brings a unique, energizing, and redefining perspective to the table.
He currently serves as the youngest member for the Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee, and is the youngest Board Member for Unity Coalition, a non-profit organization focusing on LGBTQ issues and serving the South Florida community and advancing equality & fairness for the LatinX, Hispanic & Indigenous LGBTQ Community through education, leadership, & awareness since 2002.
