League of Legends is set to make gaming history with the introduction of a new character, K'Sante. While he's not the first queer character to be added to the massively popular online multiplayer game, he's the first-ever LGBTQ+ Black champion. This was recently confirmed on Twitter by out actor DeObia Oparei, who will voice the character. The Tweet said, "I'm excited to give life and voice to K'Sante and make history portraying the first LGBTQ+ black Champion Warrior @LeagueOfLegends."
According to ONE eSports, K'Sante is also known as the Pride of Nazumah, and is set to join the roster of champions in November during the ongoing 2022 World Championship.
