In a disturbing incident early Sunday, the front doors of the Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Plano, Texas, were targeted in a firebomb attack. The attack involved an incendiary device with a chemical accelerant, causing damage to the doors and entrance foyer. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the church has been facing threats from a hate group since June 25. Plano police have initiated a criminal investigation, and the fire marshal is reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspect(s). Extra security was deployed during Sunday morning services to ensure the safety of the congregation. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
