Mark your calendar for November 17 & 18 for the smart ride 20
Orlando Gonzalez, the executive director for Save and a former board member of the Board of Trustees for the Point Foundation, shares exciting news about the Smart Ride 20. This event is a two-day, 165-mile bicycle ride that will take participants from the University of Miami to Key West on November 17 and 18. The primary aim of the Smart Ride is to raise funds for AIDS service organizations in Florida, including AH of Monroe Pride Lines, Broward House, Compass, Miracle of Love, and EPIC. This year marks the 20th consecutive edition of the Smart Ride, and it will also be its final year. The event has set an ambitious goal of raising $2 million, which will bring the total donations to the community to nearly $17 million over its two-decade history. Orlando Gonzalez himself will be part of the cheer squad for the event, showing support for its commitment to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS in Florida and its dedication to the cause Social links: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/QueerNewsTonight Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/queer_news_tonight/ The FayWhat?!
