  She is an icon in the LGBTQ+ community. She was an early organizer of Miami AIDS Walk, The White Party for Care Resource, and other major events. She has served as the Executive Director of Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber Foundation and LGBTQ Visitor Center. She is the Founding Executive Director of Miami Beach Pride and currently serves as the Program Manager for Jewish Community Services LGBTQ Lambda Living Program for LGBT Seniors.
