DC WorldPride 2025 is set to take place in the nation's capital, and it promises to be an unforgettable week of celebration, inspiration, and empowerment for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
The event is organized by a team of dedicated individuals, including Tiffany Shivay, the Celebration Chair, Sahan, the Director of Operations, and Jerry Houston, the Entertainment Chair. The team has planned a series of events that will showcase the best of the city and the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.
The week-long celebration will kick off with a historic March and Rally from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol Building in the footsteps of Martin Luther King Jr. and the millions of others who have demanded equality for all. This event will provide a platform for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to make their voices heard and advocate for equality and justice.
The two-day Festival will feature hundreds of community groups, artisans, and multiple stages with dozens of live acts featuring performers from around the world. The festival will also include exhibitor space for participating Enterprise organizations and the world-renowned Unity Center for Performing Arts.
One of the highlights of the event will be the one-of-a-kind Illumination Boat Parade, which will feature brilliantly lit boats, yachts, and ferries along the Potomac River. Enterprise members will enjoy a special reception, including dancing, food, and music aboard the pride flagship, The Odyssey DC.
The beloved parade will feature hundreds of contingents showcasing their pride along one of the world's grandest Avenues. The event will also include the annual tradition of painting the town with pride, with thousands of homes, businesses, and landmarks displaying their pride with a variety of show-stopping designs.
The week will conclude in partnership with I Heart Radio and Pride Radio with a free star-studded concert and dance party in the footsteps of the U.S Capitol Building. The concert will feature international chart-topping performers and provide an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to come together and celebrate their diversity and unity.
