American fast food restaurant chain, Chick-fil-A has gone woke for having Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Italian American political commentator and Miami resident Joey Mannarino, whose pronouns on Twitter are listed as Shut/Up tweeted, "Any company that is pushing the trans stuff on our kids or the DEI stuff, we are going to pick the worst offenders and boycott. We will not support companies that hate values." Mannarino linked to Chick-fil-A’s diversity, equity, and inclusion page, where the company highlights its efforts to create a culture of belonging, invest in scholarship funds, and fight hunger. He conducted a poll receiving over 110,00 submissions asking followers whether they should boycott Chick-fil-A or not, with 53 percent saying no.
