The walk is a great way to give back to your community. This year, the walk was organized on March 18. This 5K walk started and finished at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The program started at 8 AM with DJ Ed Talks on stage and the walk began at 10 AM.
Tampa Bay-based LGBTQ support group Found Family Collective hosted a self-defense class aimed at the LGBTQ community recently. The event was held in collaboration with the self-defense training company Weapon Brand at Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg.
Starting from March 31 to April, 16, the LGBTQ+ community will get to participate in everything from dinner, movie night, parties, family picnics, and art showcase to pageant. A proposed law in Florida would force bloggers who write about Gov. Ron DeSantis and other elected officials to register with a state office and file monthly reports or face fines of $25 per day. The bill was filed in the Florida Senate by Senator Jason Brodeur, a Republican.
