Award-winning filmmaker Tyler Perry is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone with crucial information regarding the tragic killing of Josiah “Jonty” Robinson, a 24-year-old singer in Grenada. In a heartfelt tribute shared to his Instagram, the star shared that Robinson “was like a son” to his close friend and veteran publicist Yvette Noel-Schure. Many suspect the young man may have been targeted due to his sexuality after his body was discovered on a beach in St. George's, Grenada, early last month. An autopsy report determined that Robinson died from manual strangulation. The “Sisters” creator shared a post on Instagram that read, "My mind immediately went to Mathew Shepard, and all the other victims of racist, homophobic, antisemitic, xenophobic, senseless violence. This kid was 23, how is this ok? His mother is devastated…The pain of not knowing can be crippling…The pain of not knowing is truly gut-wrenching."
