The preview for episode six of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 is here – and it includes some fan-favorite internet gays!
For this week’s maxi challenge, the queens are asked to break into groups and form girl groups consisting of old women.
When announcing the challenge, Mama Ru calls upon the Pit Crew to enter the werk room, but instead of Bruno Alcantara, Calixto Quan, and Bryce Eilenberg walking in, we get the internet sensations and 2022 Out100 cover stars the Old Gays walking in wearing nothing but pink speedos. The Old Gays are a group of four gay social media personalities and LGBTQ+ rights activists with over 6.9 million followers on TikTok and a docuseries in the works. They were an immediate hit -- particularly among younger viewers who had rarely heard from their LGBTQ+ forebears. You can watch the full sneak peek of the “Old Friends Gold” online. Apart from this, the preview shows the queens listening to all of the songs that are available to them and breaking into groups. While one group chooses the “hip hop” song. Two groups go with the “heavy metal” genre, and there comes a werk room drama over who gets to do what.
