Q News Tonight is proud to support our local and national 501c3 non-profit organizations and their events, and tonight we are pleased to feature the National LGBTQ Task Force Winter Party Festival. The Task Force is the uncompromising voice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer freedom, justice and equality for over 45 years, with the Winter Party Festival as their annual, week-long celebration of music, dance, and community, produced to raise critical funds for the LGBTQ community. And this year, it’s an exclusive virtual experience!
Our first guest is Michael Bath, Events Director for the National LGBTQ Task Force, producing their two largest fundraisers of the year: Winter Party Festival and the Task Force Gala held in Miami. While very different in nature, both raise vital funds for the LGBTQ community while also providing spaces for people to express themselves and celebrate.
Our other guest with us is Dan Slater, a world Australian DJ and Producer based in the United States. Prior to this, he was one of the most sought after dancers and show producers in Australia, performing in many broadway-style productions. His love of music eventually lured him onto the decks – and this new chapter has gained him the attention of promoters and clubbers around the world. He just released ‘Sold My Soul’ and ‘Respectable’ with Australian singer-songwriter, Zoë Badwi, both who will be performing together at the Winter Party Virtual Main Event.
To tell us more about the National LGBTQ Task Force and the Winter Party Festival Virtual Experience starting this Thursday night, is Events Director Michael Bath & DJ Dan Slater. Welcome Michael & Dan to Q News Tonight!
