Our Hotspots magazine will celebrate 39 years this fall. It has been documenting the LGBTQ+ lifestyle and is the inspiration of our HOTSPOTS Queer Entertainment segment this week. There is more bisexual representation in mainstream media and we love to see it! In 2023, Bradley Cooper is once again doing director-actor double duty in Maestro, an upcoming drama about bisexual conductor Leonard Bernstein and his wife. This is his second-ever movie as a director, following 2018’s A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga. In this first teaser released by Netflix, Cooper and Gideon Glick’s characters can be seen caressing each other in another moment at the theater Bernstein is holding the hand of a man with his wife sitting on the other side of him. At the Bernstein Kennedy Center honors award Laureen Bacall said of the West Side Story composer “He is a conductor, composer of Broadway musicals, symphonies, lecturer, teacher, pianist, … a renaissance man. And his gift is for making music accessible to all of us” Queer fans of Bradly Cooper are excited to see what he has to offer in the movie. #HotspotsMagazine #LGBTQLifestyle #AnniversaryCelebration #QueerEntertainment #BisexualRepresentation #BradleyCooper #MaestroMovie #LeonardBernstein #NetflixTeaser #GideonGlick #LGBTQMovies #AStarIsBorn #LadyGaga
