Thou Art Woman: Queer Love Artist Talk
The love expressed between women is particular and powerful because we have had to love in order to live; love has been our survival,” – Audre Lorde
Come enjoy our Queer Love Art Exhibition and Artist Talk! Our featured artists will discuss their work and you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions as well. And we’ll have a dance performance by Nami Flare!
The Queer Love Exhibition is presented by the nonprofit Black LGBTQ+ Liberation, Inc. (BLINC). This exhibition centers and celebrates queer love. We aim to give visibility to how queer women love – our intimate, romantic, sensual and sexual relationships. We are particularly centralizing images of and work of women who are often lacking in representation.
Featuring artists Royal Brown Photography, Khaulah Naima Nuruddin, Zipporah Michel, Jane Kreinberg, Trish Delish Art, Nik Harris and G Wright.
Nik Harris & G Wright, BLINC founders, have collaborated with Royal Brown Photography to curate and produce a photo and video installation titled “ Black Queer Love.”
