"Jeopardy!" contestant Amy Schneider is the highest-earning female contestant in the show's history, and conservatives see this as an assault on women. Amy, the first openly transgender contestant on the show, won for the 22nd time on “Jeopardy!” Thursday night. The 42-year-old engineering manager from Oakland, California, won $25,600 more — for a total of $831,600 in winnings. Among those who had a problem with the “top female” designation was Rachel Bovard, senior policy director of the Conservative Partnership Institute who tweeted, “Peak feminism now means handing over all the ‘first woman’ titles to men posing as women. From the athletics to the nerdy game shows, to the miracle of giving birth. Women, as a separate and amazing biological category, are meaningless. Great job everyone.”
