Queer News Tonight previously reported on The Steadfast Bible Church in Hurst, Texas, when pastor Jonathan Shelley said he had hopes people would drive their trucks through pride celebrations after the tragedy at Stonewall Pride Wilton Manors. The building Steadfast operates in is owned by the nonprofit organization Fellowship of the Sword Inc. That group wants Steadfast out because they’re preaching violence, which has led to protests against the church in the past. The church tried to fight the eviction, but Judge Don Pierson ruled against them on February 24th, giving them 5 days to vacate and hitting them with $42,000 in attorney's fees.
