The annual Red Dress, Dress Red Gala is here. The gala that started in 2005 is to be hosted in South Florida for the first time, and it will be presented by the World AIDS Museum and Education Center with Hunters Nightclub. Red Dress, Dress Red Gala will be held on Saturday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA). The purpose of the gala is to increase awareness of the HIV epidemic and raise funds for the Museum and foster community. All funds generated from the event, up to five hundred thousand dollars, will be matched by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). The gala will feature live entertainment from Broadway star Anne Steele, Season 10 American Idol contestant Matthew Darren, South Florida legend, LeNora Jaye, and the famous Synergy Twins.
