The Real Housewives universe just got a little queerer.
Bravo recently unveiled the cast of its upcoming reboot of Real Housewives of New York City, including famed designer Jenna Lyons. Lyons, who served as president and executive creative director of J. Crew, is queer. Lyons was famously outed at 43 years old in 2011 when the New York Post published an article about her dating a woman. The designer is making history as the first openly queer Housewife in New York City. Just last year, Real Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova and her wife, Russian tennis star Martina Navratilova, made history as the first same-sex couple to be featured on a Real Housewives show.
