The 'Where The Girls Are: Ladies' Shorts Program' at OUTshine Film Festival will be held on Sunday, October 16th at 3:00 pm. The same movies will be streamed for virtual audiences from October 17th - October 19th. The venue for the in-person screening will be Gateway Cinemas Fort Lauderdale. The brunch will screen different short films such as Static Space, Exemplar, Masquerade, Mirage, And Supernova. Static Space is about Jamie, a young woman living in rural Indiana struggling to figure out her place and identity. Exemplar is about a young dancer named Eden, and how her loneliness drives her to a sensitive and inspiring dance teacher in hopes of gaining the closeness she so desperately needs. Masquerade is about a woman who returns to her hometown in search of healing and what she discovers instead shapes her. Mirage is a movie about a woman who receives a mysterious letter, and how the past seeps into her present. Supernova is about a woman astronaut Nova who is selected as the commander-in-chief of the first mission to Mars. OUTshine Ladies' Brunch will hosted by Chef Josie at Bubbles + Pearls at 1:00 pm followed by the screenings of the Ladies' Shorts Program at Gateway Cinemas at 3:00 pm and tickets are available for only $14. #entertainment
