With all the history that was made today, the end of the Donald Trump era was noteworthy. The inauguration of Joe Biden in the environment of the January 6 attack on the capitol and covid-19 pandemic is the lead story. However, in any other election cycle the absolute headline would be the inauguration of the first woman, first black woman, the first asian american woman Vice President. That is the history of today for the inauguration of Kamala Harris. For four long years the hollow lie was bantered that Donald Trump was the most pro Gay president in history. It was a lie, told hundreds of times to try to make it true. So the worlds first LGBTQ live television news, Queer News Tonight is proud to say today, Kamala Harris is the most pro LGBTQ Vice President in history. The LGBTQ community celebrates this moment. We know tomorrow, the politics of division will resume in one form or another. But for today, the significance of this moment is hard to even understand. A black woman is Vice President of the United States. Amazing when you consider Harris has an LGBTQ chief of staff, and now becoming the #1 seat for the Democrats as a Presidential nominee after Joe Biden.
