Millions Attend Pride Parades Across USA. Photos From Marches Around The World

Protecting our rights and fighting against politics that harm the LGBTQ+ community were the catalysts that sparked the Stonewall Riots, and the many other protests and riots that took place before them as part of the LGBTQ+ rights movement. This weekend, that focus was renewed after Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas stated that the reasoning he and the other Justices used to overturn Roe v Wade would be used against the court cases that allowed for same-sex marriage and overturned anti-sodomy laws. Millions turned out for Pride celebrations in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and other major cities. The organizers of NYC Pride had Planned Parenthood lead the parade in direct response to the Supreme Court decision.
