SAVE Champions of Equality GALA Becomes LGBTQ+ Rally For November 8 Election

Saturday a powerful moment for the LGBTQ+ community took place at the annual SAVE Gala at Miami Beaches New World Center. The sold out and star studded event included dozens of local, state and national politicians and a who’s who of queer advocacy and LGBTQ+ supporters from South Florida. Hosted by SAVE Executive Director Orlando Gonzalez and Miami Beach Commissioner David Richardson, the first LGBTQ+ elected statewide official focused on the need of the GALA. The fund raiser was highlighted by many special performances including a special moment from Debra Cox.
