Taylor Swift is taking a strong stand in support of the LGBTQ+ community. The 12-time Grammy Award winner marked Pride Month by telling the nearly 64000 people who packed Chicago’s Soldier Field, "First things first, Happy Pride Month, everyone. We can support as much as we want during Pride Month. But, we need to do our research on these elected officials — are they advocates? Are they allies? Are they protectors of equality? Do I want to vote for them? In short, Vote for those who support the LGBTQ+ community."
